Class Schedule Reminder App for Students

Stop accidentally missing classes. Bumbi sends persistent reminders before each class that repeat until you are actually heading to the lecture.

The problem

Missing a class sounds like something that should not happen. The schedule is the same every week. How do you forget? But students miss classes all the time. Your Tuesday/Thursday class is at 8 AM and you overslept. Your Wednesday lab at 2 PM slipped your mind because you were studying for something else. Your Friday seminar does not have attendance tracked, so you convince yourself you will catch up on the material later (you will not). Early morning classes are the worst offenders, but even afternoon sessions get missed when your schedule varies day to day. A phone alarm works for fixed wake-up times, but college schedules are irregular enough that each day requires different preparation.

How Bumbi solves this

Create a Bumbi reminder for each class, 30-45 minutes before start time. For the 8 AM class, a 7:15 reminder that keeps buzzing means snoozing your alarm does not save you from knowing you should be up. For afternoon classes, it catches you when you are deep in studying or socializing and need a push to walk to the lecture hall. One class, one recurring reminder, matching the days it meets. A single "class in 30 minutes" notification? Easy to dismiss. A reminder that keeps coming back? Way harder to ignore by accident.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should class reminders fire?

Thirty to forty-five minutes before class gives you time to prepare and commute. For early morning classes, an earlier reminder (60 minutes) accounts for getting ready.

Can I set different reminders for each day of the week?

Yes. MWF Chemistry at 9, TR History at 2. Each class has its own reminder that only fires on the days it meets.

What about cancelled classes?

Dismiss that day. If the class is cancelled for the whole semester, delete the reminder. One-off cancellations just need a quick dismiss.
